MISSION & OBJECTIVES

The purpose of the New Hampshire Educational Opportunity Association is to bring together those persons who are involved in programs that provide students access and opportunities for success in education at all levels, with the ultimate goal being the completion of a program of post secondary education.

The Association shall be particularly concerned with those students who because of socio-economic status and/or disabilities, find themselves in a position of disadvantage with respect to traditional students.

Objective 1:
Expand access to and increase success in formal postsecondary education for low-income, first generation college students, and college students with disabilities.

Objective 2:
Increase the skills and knowledge educational opportunity program personnel are able to effectively use to meet the needs of the TRIO-eligible population.

Objective 3:
Increase the organizational capacity of NHEOA to advance our advocacy and professional development objectives.
